The American Geophysicist Union is a scientific community that holds many conferences, they provide a way for scientists to share recent discoveries. In the interest of providing such information to those who could not attend, the Webcasting Project has been publishing their featured lectures online. The poster movies I make are like slide shows, the readability of the graphs and charts is their main concern, so the movies are large and slow with the audio file of the lecture as the primary concern.

Some of the highlights of making this site were;

Working with nasa satelite images,

Learning much about how the scientific community works,

Going on location for two film shoots,

Assisting the art director in coordinating AV services, lighting, and sound equiptment,

Learning how to compress sound files,

Being involved with every aspect of production,

Filming Newt Gingrich alongside C-SPAN.
